Perceptivisation is a simple way to view or look at problems we encounter in everyday life.
At www.thebodycamp.com in Ibiza, we welcome 20 international guests each week. They learn that by adjusting the way they look at life with our PZ method, they can feel better about problems and events in life. PZ stands for Perceptivisation; simply adjusting our viewing glasses, to look at problems in a new light and realise one thing – that good comes from every problem and issue.
Here are some examples we use in Ibiza at the retreat – which one can you see yourself using?
You just finished a workout OLD VIEW “My muscle are so sore after my workout – I never want to work out again – the pain is terrible and I feel tired”
PZ “ The muscle soreness is an indication that my body is changing shape and developing into a better shape. Feeling tired means I pushed myself and I can feel proud of myself”
You begin eating healthy salads OLD VIEW “I don’t like the taste of these greens and salads”
PZ “This food tastes different because it’s healthier, nutrient dense and very time I eat it I will realise I eat for health, possibly reducing my risk of disease, and I am learning not to eat just for pleasure.
You have no time to cook OLD VIEW “I never have time to cook, can’t cook and I am too busy. Therefore I eat out all the time and have to buy fast foods”
PZ “What do I really spend my time on during the day apart from work. Why do I not make cooking a priority to gain control of my food choices and read The Body Camp Cook Book (to be released shortly) or find healthy recipes on the internet.
You drink too many fizzy drinks OLD VIEW – “I love drinking fizzy and sugary drinks – they give me energy but I feel low afterwards.”
PZ – “I understand that my body is 70% water and drinking sugar is the best way to store fat if it’s not burned off. My lack of energy is due to poor nutrition so I will fuel my body with wholesome food and water”
A teacher working in a college OLD VIEW “I hate being inspected by an outside party/regulator on my teaching at college and whilst I am in the classroom”
PZ “These people are coming to help me teach better, engage students and show me the possible areas in the classroom where I need to improve.”
Any business owner OLD VIEW “I don’t like what these customers are saying about my business – they want everything and even expect a higher service too”
PZ “ what and how can I learn from these customers and all the great feedback they are giving me about the services I offer from my business and how to improve them.
A teenager starting a first time relationship OLD VIEW “My mother and father don’t know what they are talking about in regards to my current relationship status and have no Idea about first time relationships.
PZ “ My parents have been through many things in life and could advise me on how to approach a first time relationship and the areas I do not know about.
A frustrated Grandfather OLD VIEW “The new young generation coming through are always on social media, always google everything and are looking constantly at screens/phones”
PZ “The new generation are always learning, sharing information and are very well informed on world events and what their social media friends are posting.
A frustrated mother OLD VIEW “ My children never listen to me, are constantly resisting me and don’t want to help around the house”
PZ “ I am not paying my children enough attention – How can I reach them in a new way, show them family values and find something that motivates and helps them understand the value of team work in my family.
PZ once every day – it can change the way you look at life’s challenges and help you be even happier.
