Our head chef and co-founder, Ben Whale, shares his favourite recipe for beating those January blues
Serves 1
Ingredients:
- 30g scoop pf pea protein
- 1 pitted Medjool date
- 1 tspn Lucuma powder
- 1 tspn Umbra Organics lion’s mane and cordyceps powder (optional)
- 1 tbspn chia seeds
- 1 tbspn pecans or walnuts
- 300ml unsweetened soy milk
- cacao nibs and slices of banana to garnish (optional)
Method:
- Add all of the ingredients – apart from the garnish – into a smoothie blender
- Feel free to add some ice as well if you like it chilled
- Drink straight away as the banana will oxidise quickly and alter the flavour
